Located near the center of Lune, the Floating Gardens are large pools of fresh water captured by rainfall. Rain water is channeled here from buildings and streets throughout the city.
The pools are covered in rust reed and red bean pads, two staple crop in the Straits. The pools yield only enough to sustain several hundred people all year, so the resulting crop is used at holidays or as a gift to visiting dignitaries.
The grounds are renown for their beauty. It’s common to see young lovers strolling about the stone walkways and wooden overhangs.
